Amaretto Espresso Brownies

Fabulous Valentine’s Day brownies! Amaretto, Espresso, and Chocolate! Who could ask for anything more?

Ingredients

  • One box (family size) Betty Crocker Delights Supreme Triple Chunk Brownie mix
  • 3 Tablespoons Amaretto
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • one packet Starbucks Via Instant Italian Roast coffee

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9″x13″ pan with parchment paper extending over the sides. Spray a small amount of cooking spray onto parchment paper. Set aside.

In a medium size saucepan over low heat, melt 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter. Remove from heat and stir in 2 eggs, brownie mix, amaretto and coffee. Combine well. Pour brownie batter into prepared pan and bake for 26-28 minutes. Let cool for 30-60 minutes. Remove brownies from pan using sides of the parchment paper. Cut out heart shapes if desired. I topped mine with a chocolate glaze and embellished with a chocolate covered espresso bean and red sprinkles for a Valentine’s day treat.
